The trailer was awesome, the game nearly lives up to it. Glitches with save points, and respawning right next to a group of zombies is a bit disappointing. But the graphics are great, the sound track and effects are good. The story is about a group of people immune to a zombie outbreak and their fight with others for freedom to get off a holiday island and city. Unfortunately the dlc content promised with the pre order isn’t ready (NOT AMAZONS FAULT!) But overall with depth in weapons and enemies and a decent story a very enjoyable experience.

well what can i say? preordered from mr amazon and they deilvered the game on time with no problems at all.the problems started when i actually started playing the game…after comparing it to fallout 3 with zombies it soon degenerated into a full on gameplay glitch fest.the game only saves when you complete a quest,it feels like the zombies are pummeling you from inside you own body and i had the worst glitch of all occur after 60 hours worth of gameplay…yes folks…my game save got corrupted and i have had to start the thing again…hmmpf…hopefully the makers of this game will be able to patch this shoddy game as i really did enjoy playing it…after i got used to dying…a lot.

Genuinely one of the most terrible games I have ever bought, traded it in the next day to cut my losses- being a big zombie and horror fan, I was really excited for this game. I could not have been more disappointed. The gameplay mechanics are poor, with the melee being fairly haphazard and inconsistent (“aiming for the head” is impossible on console due to the clunky controls and delay, whilst kicking is apparently something that can be done infinitely, whilst swinging a weapon can only be done a limited amount till your endurance runs out). The shooting is equally terrible, with the unimaginative weapons feeling weak and hollow- there is no enjoyment to shooting and it really only turns up at the end of the game (meaning that choosing the female character with shooting skills really is useless for the first 4 hours or so at least). The game feels very incomplete and unpolished- one example of this being how 2 out of the 4 starting characters are female, yet every NPC will still refer to you as “him” or “he” if you use these. Clearly, this is not a massive issue, but it merely demonstrates the lack of polish and rush to publish this game. Finally, the most grating issue for me, the fact that after clearing out an area of zombies, when you return to the area, every zombie will respawn in EXACTLY the same place, which sort of diminishes from the whole “horror” part of the game. Seriously, what I’ve written here only scratches the surface of how poor this game is, trade it in whilst it’s still worth something and save up for bf3, skyrim, or just a pack of cigarettes to end your life earlier so you don’t have to live in a world with a game this frigging bad.
